The Pyramids course is part of a giant project
along the Cairo Alexandria Desert Road which totals 12 million square meters.
It includes plans for 2,500 residential units, a five-star hotel, 34 man-made
lagoons, restaurants, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, recreational
facilities, a variety of golf courses, a lighted driving range and a
fully-equipped golf academy. All 99 holes are slated to be fully operational by
2002.
The first 27 holes of the course,
including the championship 18 hole course are open for play. The clubhouse and
adjacent swimming pool are finished
